You provide: name, email address, password, phone number, host/guest role, property listing details, payment information (processed by our payment processor — we never store full card numbers), messages sent through the platform, and reviews.
Collected automatically: IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, referral source, approximate location derived from IP, and interaction data — collected via cookies and similar technologies described in Section 5.
From third parties: if you sign in with an OAuth provider (e.g. Google or Apple), we receive your name and email from that provider.
We process personal data to: provide and secure the Services (contract performance); process bookings and subscription payments (contract performance); send transactional emails such as booking confirmations (contract performance); respond to support requests (legitimate interests); analyze usage to improve the Services (consent, via analytics cookies); and market the Services, including measuring ad campaigns and building retargeting audiences (consent, via advertising cookies).
Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting prior processing.

We use three categories of cookies: strictly necessary (authentication, security, consent storage — always active), analytics (Google Analytics 4), and advertising (Google Ads, Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel). Analytics and advertising cookies are set only with your prior consent.
You can change your choices at any time via . We also honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal as a valid opt-out of targeted advertising where required by law.
We share personal data with: service providers acting on our behalf (hosting, payment processing, email delivery, customer support); advertising and analytics partners listed in Section 4 (with consent); hosts and guests as needed to facilitate bookings (e.g. a host sees the name of a guest who books); and authorities where required by law. We do not sell personal data for money. Sharing with advertising partners may constitute a “sale” or “sharing” under California law — see Section 9 for how to opt out.
We are based in the United States and process data there. Where we transfer data of EEA/UK users to the US, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework as applicable. We retain personal data for as long as your account is active, and thereafter only as long as needed for legal, tax, and dispute-resolution purposes, after which it is deleted or anonymized.
You have the right to access, correct, delete, and receive a copy of your personal data; to restrict or object to processing; and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, email privacy@stayzzen.com. You may also lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
If you are a resident of California or another US state with a comprehensive privacy law, you have the right to know, correct, and delete personal information we hold about you, the right to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information (including for cross-context behavioral advertising), and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
To opt out of sharing for targeted advertising: (disable the “Advertising” toggle), or enable Global Privacy Control in your browser. For all other requests, email privacy@stayzzen.com.
You can request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time, free of charge, at stayzzen.com/account/delete or by emailing privacy@stayzzen.com with the subject “Delete my account.” We will verify the request and complete deletion within 30 days.
Deletion covers your profile, saved properties, messages, rewards balance, and marketing data. We may retain limited records where the law requires it — for example, completed booking and payment records for tax purposes — and will delete or anonymize those once the retention period expires. Unused rewards points are forfeited on deletion and cannot be restored.
The Services are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
